The City of Charleston will host a Here to Serve community meeting at Roosevelt Neighborhood Center on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Spring 2025 Team Up to Clean Up events will take place on April 12 and May 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local businesses, organizations, and members of the community are encouraged to join the City to clean and beautify Charleston.

Mayor Amy Goodwin shared the following statement on the passing of former Charleston Council Member Jack Harrison.

Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin proclaimed January 24, 2025 as Maddox “MadDog” Potter Day in Charleston, encouraging all citizens to honor Maddox’s memory, celebrate his legacy, and reflect on the impact of hope in overcoming adversity.

The City of Charleston is accepting applications from bands interested in performing during the 2025 Live on the Levee Concert Series—a family-friendly event that brings people to downtown Charleston for live music, food, and fun from May through August.
