PAVING/MILLING NOTICE(S)
Wednesday, September 18, 2024
Bear Contracting will mill/pave the following streets, 6:30A to 6:30P (weather permitting).
Delaware Ave - From Virginia to Lee
Randolph St - From Pennsylvania N to Pennsylvania S
Clendenin St - From Washington to Lee
Laidley St - From Donnally to Washington
Shadybrook Rd - From Smith to End
Lucado Rd - From Rt 119 to Smith
Motorists should use caution when traveling in this area. Minor delays may be experienced. Please follow directions of flag persons in newly paved areas. Take caution not to drive onto newly paved streets. Hot asphalt may damage vehicles. Parked vehicles must be removed from the street by 6:30 a.m. Please do not park on newly paved streets as car wheels may leave depressions in the asphalt which will hold water. Residents will receive a paving notice telling them that paving will occur within the next 24 hours barring inclement weather. It is not possible to predict exactly what time a work crew will be on a particular street. Any questions concerning this work can be directed to the City Engineer’s Office at 304.348.8106

>>Loudon Heights Rd Retaining Wall Project
PROJECT DATES: September 3 – 24, 2024
WHERE: Loudon Heights Rd, between Olson Rd and Wild Acre Rd
NOTE: This section of Loudon Heights will remain closed for the duration of the project (day and night).
9/16 UPDATE: Loudon Heights Rd, between Olson Rd and Wild Acre Rd is expected to reopen Wednesday (9/18) evening. Upon completion of the project, the equipment will be moved to the next projects site (Bendview Drive).

PROJECT DATES: September 18 - October 9 (3 weeks)
WHERE: Bendview Dr, Porter Rd to Woodcliff Rd
NOTE: This section of Bendview Dr will be closed to through traffic both day and night. All traffic accessing Bendview Dr will need to use Loudon Heights Rd.
