Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin was nominated and confirmed as the 2nd Vice President of the National League of Cities (NLC) Women in Municipal Government (WIMG) Board of Directors for 2025 during the NLC City Summit. WIMG is one of the National League of Cities six constituency groups.

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR 16th ANNUAL CHARLESTON WINTER SERIES

The City of Charleston Parks and Recreation Department today announced registration is open for the 16th Annual Charleston Winter Series. The race series includes a 5k run/3k walk on December 15, 2024, an 8k run/4k walk on January 12, 2025, and ends with a 10k run/5k walk on February 16, 2025.
