CITY AND CHARLESTON CVB TO HOST SMALL BUSINESS INVESTMENT GRANT WORKSHOP

(Charleston, W. Va.) – The City of Charleston and Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a Small Business Investment Grant Program Workshop, Thursday, September 15 at 4 p.m. at City Hall in Room 308 (AV Room). The workshop will provide an overview of the Small Business Grant Program and qualifying projects and include guidance on creating an effective marketing and advertising plan.

“We want to make applying for our Small Business Investment Grants as easy as possible for our local businesses,” said Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin.  “We encourage anyone who is applying or who may be considering applying for the Fall grant cycle to participate.”

“Small businesses are the foundation of Charleston’s tourism economy. It’s the locally owned small businesses that differentiate us from other destinations. That’s why we’re excited to partner with the City of Charleston to offer this workshop to help small businesses learn best practices in marketing and advertising,” said Tim Brady, CCVB President and CEO.
