Rainy weather has delayed paving work at Daniel Boone Park.
Paving is now anticipated to take place Monday, October 19, weather permitting.
The parking lot will remain closed until work is complete.
The Daniel Boone Park parking lot will close Tuesday, October 13, at 9 PM in preparation for paving work.
All vehicles MUST be removed from the lot before 9 PM Tuesday. Vehicles remaining in the lot Wednesday morning will be towed.
Both eastbound lanes of Kanawha Boulevard at Florida Street are currently closed while the Charleston Sanitary Board makes emergency repairs. The duration of this closure is TBD.
Drivers should be aware of the following traffic changes:
🚗 Kanawha Boulevard Access Road: Drivers must turn left and use Fourth Avenue or another alternate route to travel eastbound.
