The City of Charleston’s Public Works Department today announced street sweeping – which helps keep roadways and drains clear of debris – will begin Tuesday, April 2, 2024, and continue through the end of October.
The City of Charleston Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Legendary Lifeguards is providing eligible lifeguard candidates the opportunity to be certified for free so long as they are at least 15 years of age, apply to work at one of the City’s pools, and pass the Lifeguard Water Skill Evaluation.
The City of Charleston 2024 - 2025 budget, presented by Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin and Finance Director Andy Wood during the March 4 Finance Committee meeting, was approved during tonight’s Charleston City Council meeting.
