Road Closures
(ALL DAY) Closure continued
- Kanawha Boulevard, Capitol Street to Clendenin Street
(5:30 AM – 7 AM) additional road closures in progress
(7 AM – 5:30 PM) road closures in place
- Kanawha Boulevard closure extends, includes Stockton Street to Hale Street | Anyone who lives, works, or has an appointment at a location along Kanawha Boulevard from Stockton Street to Hale Street – and can – is advised to use an alternate route.
- The right lane of Kanawha Boulevard traveling westbound (towards Patrick Street), from Clendenin Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, will be open to traffic
- On-Street parking will not be permitted on Kanawha Boulevard, from Pennsylvania Avenue to Stockton Street. Towing will be enforced beginning at 8 AM and through the end of the race. Calls related to towed vehicles should be directed to CPD Records Division at 304.348.6400.
(7 AM – 5:30 PM) downtown road closures in place | Anyone who works downtown, or who must cross the race route should plan ahead and allow extra time for their commute. Officers will be stationed along the route to help guide vehicles through during safe breaks in the race.
