WorldFest Carnival 2019

The University of Charleston’s Global Student Organization will present its annual WorldFest event March 7, beginning at 5:30 p.m. This year’s theme is Carnival, and the public is invited into a joyful, colorful and fun filled celebration of Carnival around the world.

This year’s event is designed to highlight both the similarities and differences in world carnival culture. There will be booths offering samples of traditional carnival street foods, as well as a fashion show presenting carnival and traditional attire from UC students’ home countries. Attendees are invited to dress up, wear masks and be ready to enjoy food, games and entertainment.

Tickets can be reserved in advance or purchased at the door for $10.00.
